Abstract

This paper takes a cursory look at sustainable development and primary education in covid-19 pandemic era. In this regard, an attempt was made to highlight effect of the pandemic on primary education in Nigeria, the efforts of the government in fighting the pandemic and its criticisms. It also discusses the concept of sustainable development, education for sustainable development and primary education vis-à-vis the implications for the pandemic era. This discourse critically outlined the aims of primary education. Finally, some important recommendations on how to achieve the goals of primary education in the pandemic era were made.
